One of the top established fintech digital banks is currently hiring for a Senior Strategy Analyst. This role will help shape core credit risk and commercial strategies for their lending products.

THE ROLE
The role is a Senior Credit Risk Strategy Analyst position which will involve leading variety of analytical projects.
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
- Optimise credit decision-making via a new risk scorecard and credit policy changes
- Use advanced statistical methods for customer behaviour prediction and demand forecasting
- Refine credit policies in collaboration with product and tech teams
- Manage pricing and commercial discussions with sales teams and partner merchants
- Analyse portfolio performance, identify improvements, and suggest strategic changes
- Develop NPV and pricing models for informed lending decisions, acknowledging limitations
- Collaborate with the fraud team to track trends and enhance fraud strategy
- Devise strategies for enhancing affordability policy and ensuring positive customer outcomes
- Mentor and foster growth of junior team members within the team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong credit risk strategy experience
- Strong SQL or Python skills
- Strong numerate degree

Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
