SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST

UP TO £48,000

EAST MIDLANDS (HYBRID)

This is an exciting opportunity to sit within the collections team for this business and help develop strategy for the launch of a new product.

THE COMPANY

This company is a leading UK retail business offering credit products, who are looking to expand their services making it an exciting time to join the team. The company places a lot of focus on its employer's growth, learning, and development allowing you to upskill while working here.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • You will be responsible for developing and managing the credit risk collection strategy.
  • You will be consistently monitoring and reporting on risky customers who have potential to go into arrears.
  • Developing actions and new strategy aimed to prevent customers from going into default.
  • General portfolio analysis.
  • Work cross functionally within the business, allowing you to gain exposure to different areas of the credit risk lifecycle.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in the collections space.
  • Strong analytical skills using SAS or SQL.
  • Experience driving insight or strategy from customer analysis.
  • Ideally looking for a candidate who has experience working in consumer lending.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential.
