Technology Client Services Attorney (AI & Legal Tech)

Location: New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco (hybrid)

A top-tier global law firm is investing heavily in client-facing technology and AI capabilities to redefine how legal services are delivered.

This role sits at the intersection of legal practice, client engagement, and emerging technology, helping shape how innovation is communicated, understood, and adopted by clients.

You will work directly with senior partners and clients to position AI and legal technology as a strategic differentiator in service delivery.

The Role

You will serve as a key advisor and translator between technology, legal teams, and clients, ensuring that complex innovations are clearly articulated and commercially relevant.

This is a highly visible, externally oriented role with direct exposure to client strategy, business development, and firm leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, and translate insights into strategic recommendations for client impact
• Partner with senior attorneys to shape and deliver client-facing narratives around technology and innovation
• Develop high-quality materials for client presentations, pitches, RFPs, and strategic engagements
• Collaborate with business development and client engagement teams to support key client relationships and growth initiatives
• Create clear, compelling content that explains complex technical concepts in accessible, client-ready language
• Work closely with internal innovation and AI teams to align capabilities with client needs and feedback loops

What Sets You Apart

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders and clients
• High level of organization, judgment, and attention to detail
• Experience operating in law firm or professional services environments
• Comfort navigating both legal and technology domains

Ideal Background

• JD preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in legal, consulting, or client-facing innovation roles
• Exposure to legal technology, AI, or digital transformation initiatives
