Performance Marketing Manager (Mid-Senior)

Location: Remote (global). Core hours overlap with UK/EU time zones

Salary: €50,000-€100,000 (DOE)

A high-growth consumer tech business building AI-powered products used by tens of millions globally. The B2C app showcases conversational AI at scale, while a parallel B2B platform powers safe, reliable AI experiences for enterprises. Marketing is performance-driven, experimentation-led, and tightly linked to product and data teams.

The Role

You'll own one or more paid channels end-to-end - from strategy and budgeting to execution, optimisation and reporting. Expect significant budgets, rapid testing cycles, and accountability for subscription growth, LTV and payback. You'll operate as the channel GM: deep in the data, creative with testing, and rigorous about unit economics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of a paid channel (or portfolio): plan, launch, optimise and scale.
  • Manage high monthly spends (often $500k-$1M+) with clear CPA/LTV targets.
  • Build experiment roadmaps: creative, audience, landing page, pricing, funnels.
  • Set up and maintain tracking/attribution; partner with data/engineering to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyse cohorts, LTV, churn/retention and subscription funnels; translate to actions.
  • Run structured A/B and multivariate tests across ads, app store assets and in-app steps.
  • Collaborate with Product & Creative to align growth levers with feature launches.
  • Produce concise weekly performance narratives and exec-level read-outs.
  • Forecast, scenario-plan and rebalance budgets across channels to hit growth goals.
  • Contribute playbooks and help mentor peers as the team scales (1 marketer per channel model).

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 3-10 years in performance marketing for B2C apps/subscriptions (startup/scale-up ideal).
  • Proven ownership of large budgets with profitable unit economics (CPA/CAC→LTV).
  • Hands-on expertise with at least one of: Google Ads, Meta/IG, TikTok, Programmatic, or direct ad networks.
  • Strong analytics: cohort/LTV, payback windows, incrementality basics, funnel diagnostics.
  • Comfort with data tools (e.g., GA4/Appsflyer/Adjust/Singular; Sheets/Excel; BI dashboards).
  • Testing rigour: hypothesis design, power/guardrails, clean measurement, crisp comms.
  • Clear storytelling - you can turn dense performance data into simple decisions.

Desirable

  • Experience with subscription pricing/packaging tests and offer frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SKAN/Privacy Sandbox, MMM basics, and incrementality testing.
  • SQL basics to self-serve queries; Python/R for deeper analysis is a plus.
  • Experience scaling in multiple geos and localising creative at pace.
  • Background blending mainstream platforms with alternative/ad-network buys.
