About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineering Lead to drive the creation of our next-generation data engineering capabilities. You will lead a talented team of data engineers while remaining hands-on in building efficient data pipelines that empower data-driven decision-making across the business.

This role combines leadership and technical expertise, offering the chance to shape the future of our data architecture, implement best practices, and mentor a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.
  • Architect and implement data solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring efficient ETL processes and data integration.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data architecture supports current and future business requirements and enables flexible growth of the platform.
  • Implement engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and modern data engineering methodologies.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing data engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Architect and manage integrations of self-service BI tools and low-code platforms such as MS Fabric or TimeXtender.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, introducing new technologies and approaches to advance the data platform.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, and data architecture principles.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, unstructured data, modeling, and warehousing, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft data stack is essential; experience with Databricks and TimeXtender is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
