THE COMPANY:
Our client is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to come in and define how the business engages with data, establish quality standards, and build a framework that improves accuracy, consistency, and confidence in reporting.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Quality Analyst, you will take ownership of scoping, defining, and implementing data quality practices across the business.
Initially, your focus will be on data discovery and profiling, working closely with stakeholders to understand existing datasets, identify issues, and define what "good" looks like from a data quality perspective. You will then move into building data quality rules, processes, and reporting, helping the business reduce errors and improve trust in its data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Profiling and assessing data quality across key datasets
- Identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and data issues
- Working closely with business stakeholders to define data quality standards
- Translating requirements into structured data quality rules
- Managing and monitoring data quality issues and resolutions
- Creating reports to track data quality metrics and improvements

- Strong software engineering capability across Pyspark, Spark SQL and Azure Data Factory.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across engineering functions.
