Our client is an international online marketplace with a very data-centered business model and experienced players in the travel industry with a successful trajectory. We are currently looking for data specialists to join their ranks in the Berlin office!

The Role

Looking for an experienced data analyst to be part of our client’s data strategy journey.

• Drive product development through data analysis, insight generation, and data visualization.
• Understand the business’s key drivers and give data-based recommendations to senior management to impact decision-making.
• Have a strong business mindset, understand stakeholders’ needs, and be able to translate them into actions.
• Work in a cross-functional team with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to improve their data infrastructure
• Design KPI metrics to improve current processes and monitor them.
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, patterns, and methodologies; share your knowledge and best practices with the rest of the team.

Your Skills

• Relevant experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence.
• Experience working with BI front-end tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience with Looker is ideal.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A solution-oriented and positive team player.

Senior BI Analyst (m/f/d)

The company

Our client is a successful Berlin-based company in the technology, health, and fitness industry. They are currently growing their entire analytics department and bringing on exciting new projects in digital analytics and machine learning.

The Role

Looking for an experienced BI specialist with a marketing and/or product analytics background. You will be based in the BI team and work closely with the Performance Marketing and Growth teams. This role will be based in Berlin.

• Proactively research and identify new data best practices that are aligned to the company and product’s roadmap.
• Communicate with Product, Marketing, and Growth team members to put together requirements, developing analyses and dashboards.
• Develop a reporting framework for Marketing and Growth initiatives.
• Assist the Product team with A/B testing design, implementation, and results analysis.
• Collaborate with the Performance Marketing and Product Growth teams with insight generation.
• Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the DWH.

Your Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Experience with marketing or product analytics is ideal.
• Fluency in SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.
• Experience maintaining tracking solutions (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Fully fluent in English.

They are going through a massive digital transformation making data at the heart of everything they do meaning you can come in and have a direct impact on the business.

The Role:

• Flight campaigns in proprietary ad server/ technologies, via data manipulation tool sets
• Partner with Account Managers for delivering high-performance outcomes
• As needed, work with the development teams to communicate implementation plans and define JavaScript functions that need to be executed
• Support stakeholders in evaluating new ideas and results of their work using a combined approach leveraging reporting and A/B testing capabilities of the platform
• Focus on implementation of web analytics solutions using Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics.
• Tagging – Analysing the customer journey through the website and platform using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Measurement/Optimisation – Setting up A/B tests to measure and test how users are interacting with different pages and how that impacts the user journey.
