Role Overview:
As a Strategy Director, you will play a key role within our client’s strategy consultancy team. You will work autonomously, supported by the Head of Strategy, and collaborate with senior colleagues. You will be responsible for creating strategic responses to client briefs, conducting cutting-edge research, and delivering actionable insights. You must have experience with retail shopper marketing and consumer insights.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
Lead the creation and delivery of strategic responses to client briefs, from challenging the brief to articulating solutions. You will craft compelling presentations and present to senior clients both in person and virtually. -
Research & Foresight:
Utilise the in-house research tools and AI systems to monitor consumer trends, retail innovations, and to support foresight processes. You’ll have access to our trends platform and frameworks to shape your strategic insights. -
Client Workshops:
Design, lead, and animate innovation workshops, R&D sessions, and inspirational sessions with clients, both virtually and in person. -
Trends Forecasting:
Contribute to quarterly retail trends forecasting, help identify emerging trends, and deliver trends presentations or webinars. -
Thought Leadership:
Write articles, white papers, and create content for our blog and social media channels, establishing the consultancy as a thought leader in the field.
Key Skills & Requirements:

Proven Experience:
A solid background in strategy, ideally within a consultancy or innovation-driven environment, with experience working with high-profile brands across multiple sectors. -
Presentation Skills:
Comfortable presenting to senior clients, able to articulate complex ideas clearly, confidently, and engagingly. -
Research & Innovation Insight:
Strong research skills with the ability to identify significant innovations, trends, and distinguish between lasting ideas and short-term fads. -
Strategic Thinking & Creativity:

THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
- Integrating a new portfolio for the business
- Track IFRS9 model performance, identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Prepare and present IFRS9 reporting to stakeholders, auditors and regulators
- Take ownership for P&L impact of impairment, identifying drivers and proposing new strategies to reduce risk of lending

We are working with a company whose mission is to defeat cancer. They are engineering programmable cell therapies aimed at overcoming cancer’s complexity and improving patient outcomes.
This team is looking for an MLE to design and implement the foundational ML architecture that powers their CAR T-cell therapy discovery platforms. You will work at the intersection of advanced machine learning and immuno-oncology to optimize the development of personalized cell therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement the ML systems that power our CAR T-cell therapy discovery platform, optimizing performance and scalability in a clinical research environment.
- Analyze machine learning workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Establish MLOps standards for the organization, including experiment tracking, model versioning, and building automated deployment pipelines for ML models.
- Lead the integration of ML platforms with other software systems and tools, enabling seamless data flow across the CAR T-cell discovery pipeline.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including product, design, front-end, machine learning, and infrastructure teams, to ensure cohesive integration of ML into the discovery process.

Requirement:
