The wider analytics function brings together Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics, Customer Analytics, Data Science, Data & AI, Pricing and Promotional Analytics, giving the team exposure to a broad range of commercial challenges. Loyalty is a key strategic priority for the business, with significant investment and senior-level backing behind its loyalty programme. The focus is on using data to better understand what drives customer loyalty and value, and to build stronger, longer-term relationships with customers.
The Role
As the Marketing Analytics Manager, you will take ownership of the analytics strategy for the loyalty programme, working closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Product, Customer and Data Science teams to understand what drives customer behaviour and translate this into clear commercial action. This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence. You will be the key analytics partner for loyalty, helping the business understand programme performance, improve targeting and personalisation, and make better decisions around promotions, communications and customer strategy.
You will:
- Define and own the analytics strategy for the loyalty programme, developing a deep understanding of how it drives omnichannel behaviour, frequency, retention and customer lifetime value
- Build insight around different customer and loyalty segments, identifying behavioural groups and opportunities to drive greater value
- Measure the impact and value of loyalty initiatives and targeted interventions, working closely with Marketing and Data Science
- Support more intelligent, data-led targeting across promotional and discounting activity
- Help move the business away from broad-based offers towards more relevant and value-accretive activity for loyalty members
- Own and develop self-serve reporting and dashboards using Power BI, providing trusted and timely visibility of programme performance and customer behaviour
- Design and evaluate tests across loyalty mechanics, communications and rewards to understand what drives engagement and retention
- Lead the analytical approach to questions around what data is needed, how it should be used and what commercial value it can create
- Act as the primary analytics partner for loyalty across Marketing, Ecommerce and Product
- Influence key decisions around promotions, targeting and wider customer strategy
- Set the standard for how loyalty insight is produced, communicated and acted upon
- Support the development and sharing of best practice across the wider analytics team
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on analysis with strategic thinking, taking a commercial question and using data to influence what the business does next.
Your Skills & Experience
- Solid experience in Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, CRM or Loyalty Analytics
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Strong data visualisation experience, ideally with Power BI
- Strong understanding of loyalty and CRM metrics, including frequency, retention, lifetime value and RFM
- Experience with customer segmentation and understanding behavioural differences across a customer base
- Experience with testing, measurement and ideally incrementality
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence challenging and demanding stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, commercially focused recommendations
- Comfortable working across both digital and physical/store channels
- Experience within retail, eCommerce or another consumer-facing environment would be highly beneficial
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms would be advantageous
- Python would be a plus
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded Marketing Analytics professional who can operate strategically, but is still comfortable getting into the detail of the data and delivering analysis themselves.

The wider analytics function brings together Customer Analytics, Data Science, Data & AI, Marketing Analytics, Pricing and Promotional Analytics, giving the team exposure to a broad range of commercial challenges. The Customer Analytics team sits at the heart of this function, helping the wider business better understand its customers and use customer data to inform decisions across the customer lifecycle.
The Role
As a Senior Customer Analyst, you will sit within the Customer Analytics team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to understand customer behaviour, identify trends and turn data into clear commercial recommendations. This is a broad customer analytics role, covering the core areas of customer health, lifecycle, segmentation, profiling and behavioural analysis, with the opportunity to work on more advanced analytical projects. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data and presenting findings in a clear and impactful way, helping stakeholders understand what is happening with customers, why it is happening and what the business should do as a result.
You will:
- Deliver customer reporting and analysis across key customer health and performance metrics
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand customer behaviour and identify trends and opportunities
- Work on customer segmentation, profiling and grouping to support better commercial decision-making
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insight and recommendations
- Apply statistical and advanced analytical techniques including regression, clustering, predictive modelling and campaign measurement
- Have an understanding of techniques such as k-means, random forest and linear regression, with the ability to interpret and utilise modelling outputs
- Support forecasting and optimisation activity across the wider analytics function
- Work closely with stakeholders across customer, marketing, commercial and other business functions
- Help stakeholders make better decisions based on customer data and real-time events
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support the continued development of the customer analytics capability across the business
The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys taking a commercial question, interrogating the data and turning it into a clear story and recommendation.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working in Customer Analytics / Customer Insight
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling and behavioural analysis
- Experience applying advanced analytical techniques such as regression, clustering and predictive modelling
- Understanding of statistical or data science techniques and the ability to interpret model outputs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable translating complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations
- A genuine interest in customer behaviour and how this impacts sales, loyalty, retention and long-term customer value
- Experience within retail, eCommerce or another consumer-facing environment would be highly beneficial
The successful candidate will be a strong all-round insight person: technically capable, commercially minded and confident communicating their findings to stakeholders.

The Company
A leading UK financial services and wellbeing business is looking for a Digital Analyst to join its Marketing & Digital Analytics function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The business has a broad digital estate spanning its website, online quote and buy journeys, digital tools, web forms and logged-in customer platforms. The Digital Analytics team works closely with product, marketing and acquisition teams to understand digital behaviour and identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and conversion. This is a 12-month FTC role, with the potential for the successful candidate to move into a permanent opportunity if they perform well during the contract.
The Role
This is a hands-on Digital Analyst position with a strong focus on GA4, GTM and digital analytics. You will support product teams across a variety of functions, as well as marketing, acquisition and CRO teams. You’ll use digital data to identify opportunities, make recommendations and help improve digital experiences and conversion. This is not a pure GTM implementation role; they are looking for a well-rounded Digital Analyst who is comfortable with both tracking and analysis.
You will:
- Analyse website and app data to identify customer and commercial opportunities.
- Support product teams with insight that feeds into development roadmaps and optimisation programmes.
- Work with marketing and acquisition teams to understand digital performance.
- Support the CRO team with analytics and make recommendations to improve conversion.
- Identify opportunities for testing and experimentation.
- Manage and maintain tracking through Google Tag Manager.
- Work with data layers, tags, triggers and custom variables.
- Support Google Analytics 4 and wider digital measurement.
- Identify and troubleshoot tagging and data quality issues.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Work across multiple datasets and projects, prioritising work according to business requirements.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on Google Analytics 4 experience.
- Good experience with Google Tag Manager, including tags, triggers, custom variables and data layers.
- Proven experience in digital / web analytics.
- Ability to turn digital behaviour into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with product, marketing, acquisition or CRO teams.
- Good understanding of conversion optimisation and digital customer journeys.
- Looker Studio experience would be beneficial.
- Power BI is also relevant.
- SQL / BigQuery is a nice-to-have rather than essential.
- Experience with app analytics or digital product analytics would be advantageous.
- Experience with Mixpanel would be useful.
- Adobe Analytics experience could also be relevant.
