THE COMPANY:
A fast-growing eCommerce business is looking for a Web Insight Analyst to join the team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative data function, helping the business better understand customer behaviour, website performance, and commercial trends to drive data-led decision making.
THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for analysing website performance and customer behaviour, identifying trends and anomalies, and providing clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.
You'll work closely with commercial and digital teams to investigate why products or categories are over or underperforming, uncover root causes, and communicate findings through compelling data storytelling. Alongside this, you'll identify opportunities to automate existing manual reporting processes and improve the efficiency of insight delivery.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience analysing web and eCommerce performance data
- Excellent data storytelling and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse customer behaviour and website performance
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying data in BigQuery
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI
- A naturally curious mindset with the ability to investigate trends and identify root causes
- Experience identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve analytical processes
- Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders without being overly assertive
- Previous experience within an eCommerce or digital environment is highly desirable
