Overview

This is a high impact Senior Manager, Data Governance role within a globally recognised professional services environment. You will step into a well established function with strong foundations already in place, taking ownership of evolving and scaling governance frameworks across the business. The role offers meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how data is managed and utilised at scale.

The Role

  • Lead and develop data governance frameworks across the organisation
  • Partner closely with Data Stewards to embed governance best practices
  • Collaborate with BI, architecture, and technology teams to align data strategy
  • Provide leadership and direction within a fast evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Build on existing governance frameworks to further enhance maturity and adoption
  • Support wider business initiatives through improved data quality and governance processes
  • Contribute to the potential expansion of governance practices on a global scale
  • Manage and develop a small team while leveraging external consultants with strong domain knowledge

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in data governance leadership roles
  • Proven capability in scaling and embedding governance frameworks across organisations
  • Experience within professional services environments, such as consulting or similar partnership led structures
  • Hands on experience with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Data360
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, data domains, and reference data management
  • Ability to work effectively in evolving environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior audiences
