Lead Analyst

£60,000-£70,000 + (up to) 20% Bonus

Fully Remote in the UK

Want to own the analytics function for a global organisation and actually influence commercial decisions? This is a rare opportunity to step into a Lead Analyst role where you'll shape reporting, lead projects, manage a team, and play a central role in a major data transformation programme. You'll have real autonomy, visibility with senior stakeholders, and the chance to build a best-in-class analytics capability in a business investing heavily in data!

The Company

A global education organisation supporting international students to study internationally, supporting students from application through to enrolment. The analytics team sits within the commercial and recruitment side of the business, working closely with marketing, partnerships, and regional leadership to drive performance through data; the business is currently undergoing a large-scale data transformation, including migration to Microsoft Fabric and a modern BI environment, making this a great time to join and shape the future state.

The Role

You'll act as the senior analytics lead across partnerships and recruitment, combining hands-on delivery with leadership and stakeholder influence.

You will:

  • Lead analytics and reporting across pipeline, conversion, and partner performance
  • Manage and mentor a small team of analysts
  • Own dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and tech teams
  • Drive adoption of new BI tools and improved data processes
  • Play a key role in migration to a modern data platform and reporting stack
  • Deliver insight that informs strategy and commercial decision-making

This role blends hands-on analytics + stakeholder leadership + team management.

Your Skills & Experience

I am looking for someone who can balance technical delivery with commercial impact.

You'll have

  • Strong Power BI (or similar BI tool) experience including data modelling
  • SQL skills
  • Experience delivering analytics projects end-to-end
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring or managing analysts
  • Comfort working in evolving or transforming data environments

The Benefits

  • £60,000-£70,000
  • Bonus - up to 20%
