THE ROLE

This is an Analyst role focused on audience analytics, engagement, and monetisation across large-scale publishing platforms. You'll work closely with product, editorial, commercial, and tech teams to understand user behaviour and help shape how audiences are acquired, retained, and monetised.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing whether premium content, paywalls, or subscription models can drive incremental revenue
  • Designing and analysing A/B tests to improve engagement, relevance, and retention
  • Working across multiple areas of the business as priorities evolve
  • Audience forecasting and traffic modelling
  • Evaluating the impact of AI-driven initiatives (e.g. content summarisation)
  • Partnering with stakeholders to translate insights into practical changes, while managing expectations and pushing back where needed

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong SQL capability, with experience querying large-scale datasets
  • Experience working with high-volume user or audience data
  • Background in media, publishing, agency, or similarly fast-paced digital environments preferred
  • Confident working with web analytics tools (GA experience beneficial)
  • Comfortable holding your own with stakeholders, managing direct communication styles, and challenging assumptions
  • Ability to balance technical depth with commercial and product-focused thinking

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. GCP)
  • Python experience or interest
  • Exposure to experimentation frameworks or forecasting models

BENEFITS

  • Salary around £60,000
  • Hybrid working: two days per week in a Central London office
  • Core collaboration hours with flexibility around start and finish times
  • Opportunity to work on globally recognised platforms with significant scale and data complexity
  • Join a growing analytics function with exposure to product, media, and commercial strategy
