THE COMPANY:
A global organisation is undergoing a major data transformation and is seeking a Data Policy Writer to assess existing policies, close gaps, and define a clear strategy for best practice in data governance and privacy.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Policy Writer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a gap analysis of current data governance and privacy policies.
- Interviewing stakeholders to understand how data is used across teams and regions.
- Drafting clear and structured data policies that reflect best practice in governance, privacy, and security.
- Reviewing global and regional requirements to ensure policies are consistent but adaptable.
- Ensuring correct information access within SharePoint and other platforms.
- Aligning policies with regulatory standards (GDPR, ESO) and internal objectives.
- Producing a short, medium, and long-term roadmap to guide ongoing compliance.
- Presenting findings and policy drafts to senior stakeholders for approval.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
