THE COMPANY:
I'm working on a fantastic opportunity with a fast-growing SaaS company that's transforming how the hospitality sector approaches pricing and forecasting. The team is applying advanced ML techniques to solve real commercial problems-everything from demand forecasting to booking behaviour clustering and light NLP use cases.
THE ROLE:
You'd join a high-calibre team in a full-stack data science role. This role will be deeply analytical and mathematical, with an emphasis on exploratory modelling and research-driven development. You will set and optimise prices, using statistical techniques and bespoke modelling solutions. A Data Scientist (Pricing) will need to:
- Build prototypes and conduct in-depth experimentation using Python and Pandas
- Research and develop new pricing models
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques
- Explore and test data-driven approaches to price sensitivity and elasticity
- Collaborate with a highly technical team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A successful Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience:
- MSc or PhD level of education
- Strong Python skills and experience with Pandas
- A solid foundation in Statistics and ML.
- Experience with pricing
