About the Company
Our client is on a mission to make high-quality math education accessible to every student, no matter where they live. Our platform blends handwriting, speech, and text with cutting-edge AI to create personalized, interactive learning experiences.

The Role
We're looking for a React Developer who thrives on creating playful, modern interfaces that engage K-12 learners. You'll help build features that feel alive and intuitive, with delightful animations and clean design. You'll work closely with designers, founders, and AI engineers to create an experience students love.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the front-end of a global edtech product from the ground up. You must be comfortable working within a start up environment, on a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and build new features for student and parent dashboards using React, Tailwind, and Shadcn.

  • Design smooth animations and thoughtful micro-interactions.

  • Collaborate across design, AI, and backend teams to create multimodal (handwriting, speech, text) experiences.

  • Write clean, maintainable code with strong state management.

  • Contribute to the component library and advocate for front-end best practices.

  • Continuously improve UX and suggest new ideas to enhance engagement.

Experience required:

  • 2+ years of experience building production-grade React apps.

  • Must have experience with component-based architecture and state management (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.).

  • Must have experience with handling side effects and asynchronous operations (e.g., with useEffect, useSWR, React Query)

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and/or Shadcn UI (or similar libraries).

  • Must be able to code in JavaScript/Typescript without assistance
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in K-12, edtech, or accessibility-focused applications.

  • Familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, Lottie, etc.).

  • Exposure to audio/image/speech integrations or AI-based products.

  • Backend familiarity with Python/Django or working with AI services.

Note: This candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. We cannot provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future. We will not accept C2C applicants and are not looking to partner with outside vendors.
