THE ROLE
As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable data solutions that directly influence both internal operations and value creation across a world-leading portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work in a hands-on, high-impact role shaping greenfield data platforms and embedding data strategy within ambitious software businesses.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Designing and developing full-stack data pipelines and platforms using modern tools such as dbt, Airflow, and cloud infrastructure
- Cleansing, enriching and modelling data to generate commercial insights and power C-level dashboards
- Delivering scalable solutions that support internal use cases and extend directly to portfolio companies
- Working on project-based data initiatives, including AI/ML integrations for predictive modelling and cloud-based productisation
- Collaborating with commercial teams (RevOps, Finance, Sales) to turn messy data into meaningful business value
- Building internal data products and helping define the next generation of services across the wider platform
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years in data engineering, with experience in commercial environments
- Proven ability to manage the full data lifecycle-from ingestion to transformation to delivery
- Comfortable working closely with commercial functions (e.g. finance, sales) and building tools that serve business needs
- Background in startups or scale-ups with high adaptability and a hands-on approach
- Experience with modern data tools (e.g. dbt, Airflow, CI/CD) and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong communication skills and a track record of credibility in high-pressure or client-facing settings

Loyalty Proposition Manager – 12 Month Contract
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in South West London) + occasional international travel

We’re partnering exclusively with a leading international retail group to recruit a Loyalty Proposition Manager on a 12 month contract. This newly created role has been driven by ambitious strategic growth plans and offers the chance to help shape the future of loyalty across a diverse European brand portfolio.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a high-performing Centre of Excellence, you’ll support the development of loyalty strategies across a portfolio of brands – with immediate focus on two in particular. The role is strategic and proposition-focused – not about CRM execution or campaign delivery.
You’ll collaborate closely with existing loyalty team members (including a Loyalty Manager and Loyalty Specialist).
Key Responsibilities

Develop and evolve loyalty strategies and customer propositions across key brands, both digitally and in-store.

Take ownership of end-to-end customer journeys across channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Partner with group tech, data, commercial and brand teams to roll out strategies and ensure cohesive delivery.

Support a 3-6 month test-and-learn initiative to build a proof of concept for the two brands focusing on both online and offline scalability.

Shape the longer term loyalty roadmap for the business based on customer insight and performance data.

Stay ahead of loyalty trends, including tiered, point-based and subscription models.

Operate in a consultative capacity within a Centre of Excellence model – influencing local market teams.
Who We’re Looking For

Strong experience in loyalty proposition development.

Experience working across both digital and in store loyalty propositions.

Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder skills.

Previous experience working within or alongside European markets is a strong advantage.
