Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design and implement scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cloud computing, and a deep understanding of Azure services. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping data strategy and ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data architectures that support business requirements and optimize performance in Azure environments.
- Develop and oversee ETL processes, ensuring seamless data integration across multiple sources and platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and best practices for data management and governance.
- Monitor and optimize data performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of data solutions.

Skill Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a data architect or in a similar capacity with data modeling and design roles
- Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
- Expertise in all components of a modern data platform including database management, Ingestion, ELT, Transform, Orchestration, Analytics and Application layers
- Experience in designing, deploying and managing data pipelines supporting ML and/or AI use cases.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
