THE ROLE

The Senior Software Engineer will join the Data Platform team to build and maintain the data pipeline used for Machine and Deep Learning.

  • maintain the current data pipeline that receives, uploads, indexes, and processes the raw data into various aggregated or featurized forms
  • access to petabytes of data, events for triggering computation or tracking state, and automated visibility into the progress of their pipelines
  • Partner with various teams and stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated commercial experience programming complex and technical projects spanning multiple systems
  • Strong experience Python, Clojure, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, and cloud services
  • Experience with microservices
  • Master's degree or PhD strongly preferred

THE BENEFITS

  • $140,000 - $160,000 + BONUS
  • Remote start and remote until other conditions allow

Bridging the Gap: The Role of a DevOps Engineer

Siloed teams are swiftly becoming a thing of the past as organizations learn collaboration is key. Businesses are embracing transformation. But some may not know where to turn to help them manage such a massive restructuring of operations. Enter the DevOps Engineer. Yes, Virginia. The unicorn employee does exist. What is a DevOps Engineer? For many businesses, it’s a dream to find a technical person who can also communicate across departments. In the DevOps Engineer role is an IT Generalist who not only has a deep understanding of codes, infrastructure management, and agile familiarity but who also possesses interpersonal skills.
