If you want to join a rapidly growing Analytics Center of Excellence, working on customer and product focused projects within the eCommerce spacing using open source technologies, then this is the role for you. A rapidly growing global retailer are looking for a senior team manager with experience in marketing analytics and proven experience in being both coach and player to help them fully optimize and utilize their omnichannel data to its full potential, delivering insights to diverse stakeholders across the group.

THE ROLE - SENIOR MANAGER, CUSTOMER ANALYTICS

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced senior analytics professional to join a rapidly growing, advanced team specializing in omnichannel recommendation analytics and advanced customer focused projects to really make their mark within this Retail brand. As a Senior Manager, Customer Analytics, you will be:

• Actively involved in performing deep dive analysis using R, SQL/Python and Google Analytics for the online and app sides of the business to understand customer behaviors and shopping trends, as well as tracking customer channel traffic
• Using your R and SQL/Python skills you will be actively involved in building and developing predictive models from day one, helping the business utilize and optimize all marketing and customer traffic data for more efficient and effective recommendation targeting. You will be leading the team to use machine learning algorithms and recommendations online to upsell/cross sell products and understand the value to the business.
• You will be seen as a voice of influence in the business taking full autonomy for your analysis, and delivering insights and recommendations to senior management as well as non-technical audiences. You must be a critical thinker, and able to apply complex analysis to wider business questions

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in a marketing, product or customer analytics environment, preferably within the Retail or eCommerce sector
• Strong analytics capabilities in R/Python and SQL with the ability to perform highly complex analyses. Digital Analytics tools are desirable
• Ability to think critically as well as deliver key insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and well as strategize collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team
• Data driven with the desire to learn and develop new skills/analytics techniques, as well as proven capabilities in managing teams of more than 6 people

BENEFITS:

As a Senior Manager, Customer Analytics, you can expect your total compensation to be up to $200,000 (depending on experience). This includes equity and bonus potential
