THE COMPANY:

One of the nation's largest healthcare insurance provider has joined forces with a 21st century technological leader to revolutionize how we approach behavioral change. They are investing heavily into their data science team to develop a product that will lead the movement towards a healthier, happier world. How? By incentivizing better habits.

THE ROLE:

You will be building out models end to end and working crossfunctional with product and clinical team to work on incentive analytics and health history data. Being a lead means being able to present and gather business requirement as well as manage multiple stakeholders from various teams. Be prepared to work heavily on experimentation, reinforcement learning, and causal inference problems.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Technically leading projects end to end
• Applyng machine learning models to the sensor analytics space
• Communicating with senior management and stakeholders
• Advising on best technologies

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal principal data scientist will have the following skills and experience:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science
• Strong machine learning experience in a production/industry setting (Multi-arm bandits, reinforcement learning is a plus)
• Heavy experimentation background (I.e A/B testing)
• SQL, Python, R , Scala, Hadoop
• Able to work with other teams (e.g. front end, platform teams, and PM/designers)
• Has mentored others and managed large teams
• History with health records and wearables is a plus

THE BENEFITS:

The successful principal data scientist will receive a salary, dependent on experience up to $185K. On top of the salary add in some fantastic extra benefits the candidates can receive like performance bonus and unlimited vacation.
