Market Researcher (Bilingual, Mandarin Chinese)

12 - Month Contract

Overview: In this role you will be responsible for understanding why new and existing customers prefer certain products and brands. You will play a critical role in discovering quantitative and qualitative insights, crafting stories that inspire action. The role will work to identify a research vendor to work with and then to manage the research, but must be able to create their own survey's on demand if needed.

This company launched a proprietary e-commerce model that allowed consumers to shop for more affordable product.

Responsibilities:

• Leads assigned and self-identified marketing research projects to address business questions.
• Gives a voice and persona to the target consumers, collaborating closely with marketing base business and product innovation teams.
• Perform quantitative (and qualitative) analyses to uncover fact-based insights on the consumer
• Analyze and share out insights that are actionable for the marketing department and overall strategy

Skills:

• Professional experience in Marketing Research, Consumer Insights, Strategy/Management consulting, and/or Analysis
• Experience working within a CPG company preferred
• Skilled at conducting quantitative research and analyses (survey design, programming, analysis and reporting) as well as qualitative research and analyses (e.g., question design, synthesizing open-ended responses into themes)
• Qualtrics, Excel
