THE COMPANY
As am Autonomous Systems Engineer, you will be working for a company that has been a leader in developing new technologies for the government for several years now and within the past decade has really taken off in the autonomous field. This company collaborates with several clients in the defense sector that you will be working on projects for. You will be working in a team environment with people from diverse backgrounds and levels and will have the chance to see projects go all the way through.

THE ROLE - AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS ENGINEER
As an Autonomous Systems Engineer, you can expect to constantly be challenged and learning from a team that is well established in autonomy:

• You will be involved in the development of different types of robotic systems for the company's clients (UAVs, UGVs, AUVs)
• You will advance the capabilities of the systems and will be working on motion planning, path planning, and behavioral planning
• You will be developing algorithms and optimizing algorithms in C++/Python
• You will be involved in grants and proposals for new programs

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• PhD, MSc or BSc in computer science
• 1+ years of commercial experience in a relevent position
• Proven commercial experience working with autonomous systems and algorithms development
• Experience with developing and optimizing algorithms in C++ and Python
• Background in motion planning, path planning, perception or behavioral planning
• Due to the nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to receive a DoD Security Clearance
