Initial Telephone Interviews.

Following your application our Internal Recruitment team will get in touch. You can expect a 10-20 minute telephone interview where we hope to find out a little more about you and your interest in Harnham and a role as a Recruitment Consultant. 


Dependent on your location, the next stage will either be over the phone or face to face and will be with one of the Partners or Directors in our business. 

What to expect in the 1st interview: An in-depth run through of your CV Competency based questions regarding your experience and suitability for a career in recruitment. The chance to ask further questions about Harnham and a career with us.


If you’re successful after the first stage we’ll invite you to a final stage interview with us.

What to expect in the final interview: A further 30-minute competency based interview with one of the Partners or Directors.


If you’re successful in your final interview you’ll go into a trial day interview. 

What to expect on your trial day: 

2 hours shadowing consultants within the business: here you’ll get the chance to see what the job looks like day to day and get a better feel for the type of work we do at Harnham.

Get under the skin of the Harnham culture by enjoying lunch with your potential team mates

Call practice – you’ll have the chance to show us how good you’ll be at the job! We’ll give you a little bit of training before you practice screening some of our candidates.
