Senior Machine Learning Scientist

190,000 – 210,000 + Equity

Novato, CA (2-3 days a week Hybrid)

The Company:

Founded in 2005, The Client is a global video game company, publishing titles developed by some of the most influential game development studios in the world

The Role:

• Work with different leads on different projects for the client
• Work on projects – own the end to end process from inception to deployment
• Example projects:

• Predict when certain components in the game of when they are going to fail so we can prepare for it
• Use machine learning for recommendation / matchmaking
• Fraud anomaly detection

Your Skills:

Essential Requirements:

• 4+ years of industry data science experience (5+ for senior staff leveling)
• Python, SQL and the rest of the python data science stack (e.g. pandas, numpy, sklearn, etc)
• Understanding of Git
• Experience with the full ML lifecycle – from inception to deployment. Candidate does not have to deploy the models into production themselves, as long as they have experience developing models that go into production
• Experience working with time series or temporal data
• Detail-oriented

Desirable Requirements:

• Looking for more of a generalist. Only open to a specialist if they are open to working on a wide range of problems
• Experience with predictions, forecasting, time series, anomaly detection, segmentation, NLP, predictive maintenance
• Ideally no bootcamps or anyone that is currently in school
