THE ROLE
This position will see you work within the impairment team across all products, focusing on:
- Validation of IRB and IFRS9 models
- Model governance and wider support in the impairment function
- Creation of model monitoring thresholds
- Broader work on model building methodology and audit support
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Good knowledge and experience with SAS or Python
- Previous experience with model development or model validation
- Experience working with IFRS 9 or IRB models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

THE COMPANY
This role sits within one of the largest providers of consumer credit in the United Kingdom and a global financial institution. And this position is placed within their wider Customer Underwriting team – which focuses on looking after general BAU strategy across the businesses Credit Cards portfolio’s.
The purpose of this role is to lead on the design and optimisation of suitable credit and affordability strategies – with an emphasis on positive customer outcomes. All of this will be done whilst setting the governance and control framework for the wider Customer Underwriting team.
THE ROLE
- Looking at the entire end-to-end of the acquisition’s lifecycle
- Taking ownership of affordability strategies
- Identifying emerging trends on the cards portfolio and acting upon these insights
- Building and maintain key relationships with partner teams across the business
- Leading the enhancement of the businesses single customer view capability
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience in Python and SQL

THE ROLE:
As a Head of Collections, you’ll be involved in the following:

- Utilise Machine Learning techniques when needed
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful Head of Collections will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in near-prime and/or subprime lending
- Previous experience working for a FinTech lender on unsecured products
- Ideally, at least 1+ years’ experience managing a collections team
