Are you looking for an opportunity to help build out a team of data scientists, data engineers, and analysts? Do you have 4+ years of experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership? This startup company is looking for an individual who is ready to lead a team and implement the strategy as a Senior Director of Data Science.

THE COMPANY:

This company is a profitable start-up in the travel tech sector. They prioritize collaboration and making life easier for businesses and their traveling needs. In this role, you will help grow a team of engineers and data scientists along with the VP of Data.

THE ROLE:

This individual has a background in managing teams, implementing strategies and communicating with stakeholders.

• Manage a team of data scientists, data engineers, and analysts
• Partner with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven decisions
• Execute short-term and long-term data roadmaps and strategy
• Act as the leader for the team’s work on product analytics and experimentation
• Assist with growing the data team

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS
• Experience managing and leading teams in a director-level position
• Excellent communication
• Strong track record of recruiting and leading high-performing data teams

THE BENEFITS:

You can earn between $190,000 – $210,000 plus bonuses and other benefits.
