Up to £74,000 Salary + bonus

OVERVIEW

Data-driven multinational hospitality company is hiring a senior data scientist to join their growing team. As a senior data scientist you will be working end to end, building and deploying machine learning models and building the data science capabilities of the company. The main focus of this role will be to look into the different external factors that affect the dynamic pricing for hotels and forecasting demand for hotels.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Data Scientist will include but not be limited to:

• Work on Data Science projects which are focused on customer behavior and optimising customer contact
• Forecasting demands hotels and looking at external factors that influence the dynamic pricing for hotels
• Engage with business stakeholders and communicate your technical projects to the wider business
• Effectively collaborate in a cross-functional team of high-calibre Data professionals!
• Build models that can provide insights into the different metrics of business performance.
• Mentor and Coach junior team members.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM subject
• 3+ years of commercial experience
• Proficiency with Python and SQL
• Not essential but nice to have – Snowflake, Docker and AWS
• Strong communication skills
