SENIOR DATA ENGINEER

OXFORD BASED- FULLY REMOTE

£70,000-80,000 PER ANNUM

The leading tech provider in the property industry is searching for a new Senior Data Engineer to take control of their Data management solution and build a new data lake in Microsoft Azure. A self-motivated, leader who has an interest in the industry would be perfect for this role.

THE COMPANY
This leading tech provider in the property industry are striving as a company to allow buying houses to become a less stressful experience and want to collate a database for the customers information using digital tools. This database will eventually be accessible to the customer from their home, allowing an ease of access to all documents involved.

THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be joining a great working environment with friendly and talented colleagues. You will be collating Data into a Microsoft Azure Data lake and building out your own data model that will feed information to the BI Reporting team.
* Take ownership of Data management and work towards a large-scale Azure data lake.
* Monitoring all data processes to ensure it matches their high-quality standards.
* Provide a framework to allow analysts to thrive.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Extensive experience in building data models
* Strong coding skills in Python
* Commercial experience building platforms on Azure
* An understanding of big data processing tools such as Databricks
