This UK-based Fintech are searching for a new Senior Data Engineer to help architect and build a new data platform in AWS. You will also be responsible for liaising with stakeholders and influencing future business decisions.
THE COMPANY
This growing UK-based Fintech company are hiring a new Senior Data Engineer to join their expanding Data and Analytics team. The company itself strive to give people across the UK access to better loans. They are currently expanding on the back of two new projects that are launching currently.
THE ROLE
You will be joining a fast-paced and growing Data and Analytics team. You will be responsible for collaborating with managers, across the business to help understand their needs, and tailor your response to each department.
- Lead a team of Data Engineers to drive continuous improvements.
- Maintain and improve the AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement data quality best practices.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Great knowledge of using AWS, and technologies inside this platform.
- Good experience of implementing best coding practices using CI/CD.
- Great knowledge coding with Python and SQL.
- Commercial knowledge using spark.
