£375-475 PER DAY

REMOTE/CENTRAL LONDON

This position as a SAS Analyst, allows you to operate within a highly regarded financial consultancy. The SAS Analyst will be responsible for reporting data in SAS and SQL for the financial crime team at one of the consultancy's end clients. The SAS Analyst will be an expert in SAS and SQL scripting and will have a deep understanding of how to extract data and write reports in SAS AND SQL. The SAS Analyst will have the chance to enhance their CV, as working in a dynamic financial institute such as this will be highly respected within the financial sector. The SAS Analyst will also get the experience of working within a highly regarded high-street bank.

This company operates globally with their head office based in London. They offer an essential service in the form of management consultancy primarily within the financial sector. Their clients range from small micro-companies to national corporations and everything in between. Due to their high profile, this company can offer any and all employees a deep insight into the financial world and will deeply develop one's knowledge of this sector. The project will allow you to be client-facing, working B2C with a highly regarded client within their financial crime department.

THE ROLE

The SAS Analyst will be responsible for obtaining existing data from various sources and then reporting this using SAS AND SQL. This will specifically involve:

• Replicating an existing financial crime data system that is being implemented within a seperate section of the clients business
• Gathering requirements and understanding where the necessary data is within the business that you need to extract
• Extracting all relevant data stores from various sectors within the business
• Writing SAS and SQL code within the new system
• Working with other departments within the business to access necessary data for the new data system

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

As a SAS Analyst, you will be required to have the following experience:

• Experience extracting data from various sources across a business
• Experience reporting in SAS AND SQL
• Expert level SAS ability and experience using the tool within a commercial setting
• High level SQL capability, with commercial experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present yourself in front of clients
• Relevant background experience, either banking or credit bureau companies

THE BENEFITS:

As a SAS Analyst you will receive between £375-£475 per day over an initial 3-month period. As well as the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and exciting projects.
