We are working with a rapidly growing research agency who are looking to expand its UK team. They work with some of the biggest clients in the FMCG and retail spaces and have massive growth plans over the next couple of years.
THE ROLE:
The Research Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Actively develop opportunities with existing clients, anticipating their business needs and making effective use of the organisation's saas platforms
- Lead or support client briefing meetings and contribute to shaping projects proposal (working alongside the business lead) to best meet expectations.
- Develop questionnaires and analyse datasets to generate insights for clients
- Effectively lead the project management of approved projects and provide support on strategic account management for new (prospective) projects.
- Provide clients with actionable recommendations to improve their brand positioning and strategy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Research Manager will have:
- Quantitative experience, questionnaire design is a must
- Ability to speak competently to clients about research and present insights
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once
- A background across both agency and client-side
- Experience with cross/upselling products, this isn't a necessity but a nice to have
- Exposure to SaaS products would be ideal

Leading Charitable Organisation is looking for a Senior Econometrician to join their team.
THE ROLE:
The Senior Econometrician will have the following responsibilities:
● To identify opportunities to increase marketing return on investment (ROI) through optimising the media strategy
● To provide insight value add through commentary and interpretation of reports and presentation of analysis to management.
● To ensure all campaign analysis is presented in a manner that is clear, concise and understood by all recipients and recommendations are actionable and actioned by the execution teams
● Lead on the delivery of 3 rd party econometric models. Ensure the findings are presented, understood and actioned by the business.
● Work with 3 rd party agencies to integrate creative measurement metrics into econometrics evaluation and media optimisation.
● Provide detailed analysis and Insight into the performance of digital marketing communications to the player base that informs improvements to the base contact strategy.
● Utilise econometric results to optimise media buying strategy – optimising channel mix, phasing, weight of spend and overall budget allocation across portfolio.
● To produce post campaign analysis to support future campaign planning and development and improve campaign effectiveness.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
While all are not needed, the following skills and experiences will be beneficial:
● Minimum 4 years’ experience in building econometric models and detailed knowledge of how they are best used within a marketing context.
● Must have direct experience of using econometric outputs to optimise media budgets. Must have working knowledge of phasing, budget allocation & response curves.
● Must have ‘hands on’ experience of working with data from a variety of sources – with a particular focus on media data. Must have experience working with large data sets.
● Must have worked with and understand various data types – customer, transactional, web traffic and have experience in using these for analysis
● Ability to code in SQL to a high standard preferable though not essential.
● Use of R/Python preferable though not essential.
● Must have experience of measurement methodologies in different media channels and have used these to drive marketing comms strategy.
● Is able to demonstrate where they have used output from econometrics to influence business decisions
THE BENEFITS:
The successful Senior Econometrician will receive a salary of up to £66,000 based upon experience. On top of this, the successful candidate will receive a great holiday allowance, a fantastic working culture, as well as other benefits.
