FTSE 250 company is looking for a Research and Insight Analyst to join their marketing function. They will work on internal communications and deep dive analysis based on business needs. This is an opportunity to work in a busy department of a household name company, where no two days are the same.


The company is a well known estate agency looking to build out their data function, to utilise it to drive business forward. The candidate will need to use the available data to monitor and identify key trends in the London property market, and to produce insight and analysis which can be used in market reports and publications. An ideal candidate will have experience with analysing and presenting the data in an interesting way, and being able to clearly summarise the data to a non-technical audience. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a busy, dynamic department within a FTSE 250 company.


The Research and Insights Analyst will be responsible for extracting data and insight to support brand narrative around premium service for a myriad of audiences. You'll work closely with Marketing Copywriter and other members of the department to create insight that will feature in our B2B pitch presentations, whitepapers, thought leadership articles, regular reports and other content . You'll also be tasked to manage your own investigatory analysis to generate valuable insight for a number of uses. You will also be responsible for maintaining a library of all stats and data quoted externally and internally.

Specifically the Research and Insights Analyst will:

  • Creation and production of insight and analysis to support Foxtons communications strategy.
  • Provide regular research and insight articles with appropriate commentary for use in both internal and external publications, with overall responsibility for the data quality and integrity.
  • Proactively conduct deep dive analysis in to internal data to identify new trends and present the data in a meaningful and interesting way.
  • Be responsible for creation and updating of all B2B pitch data and be a go to resource for all stats and data used in internal and external publications.
  • Maintain a library of all publicised data and stats.
  • Respond to data briefs from all areas of the business, producing both ad hoc and regular analysis.


The ideal Research and Insight Analyst will have the following experience:

  • Degree level or higher in a numerate subject (e.g. Maths, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science).
  • Experience in a research and insight role data analyst position or similar.
  • Experience using data to create reports and insights highly preferable.
  • Experience using SQL and expertise in Excel, particularly being strong in Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS.
  • Comfortable in mining large and complex data sets.
  • Experience using data visualisation software to create graphs and charts.
  • Experience Power BI is desired, but not essential.
  • Demonstrate an analytical 'curiosity' through innovative, data driven insights about business questions.
  • Appetite and proven ability to explore business impact and position analysis to deliver commercial value.


The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience. As well as this the candidate will enjoy a very good work life balance and a vibrant company culture.
