THE ROLE:
The right candidate will be experienced with data visualisation, generating insight, and ETL frameworks. Acting as a technical expert, you will build relationships with stakeholders, create dashboards, and improve data models.
The role will involve:
- Design and create data models and performance reports
- Communicate analysis to stakeholders
- Taking ownership of follow up action
- Lead and plan projects
- Shaping data strategy
- Building data warehouses
- Building a Selfserve culture by building automated dashboards
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication skills
- Stakeholder management experience
- SQL
- Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
- Some experience with data engineering and ETL frameworks
- Real enthusiasm for data

A leading General Insurance and Financial Services provider is looking for a Data Consultant and a Principal Data Analyst to join them and drive their data transformation project.
The Company
The company is a UK-wide organisation, turning over £1 billion annually. The company specialises in supporting the agricultural and horticultural industry and championing stable and sustainable practices.
They are currently undergoing a data transformation, moving from SQL server to Azure, and are changing their brand from product-first to customer-first. The role sits within the very data-literate Underwriting Team, and will integrate with a group of data analysts and consultants.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Shaping data strategy and wider data governance
- Adhoc information requests and supporting on adhoc projects
- Transforming raw data to make useable to gather insights
- KPIs performance scoring and reporting
- Shaping the data ecosystem and building the data warehouse
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (ideally Power BI)
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with stakeholder management
