Are you looking for an opportunity to have ownership over all data pipelining processes a start-up fitness company? We’re looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join this team in the health and fitness space, building out big data infrastructure across the business.

THE COMPANY:

This leader in the health and fitness space has been making headlines over the last year for its state-of-the-art workout products and personalized fitness programs. As the company grows, they’re looking to grow their data team to harness this big data and use these insights across the business.

THE ROLE:

As the Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building data platforms and infrastructure from the ground up, having influence over technical decisions and tools. If you enjoy building data pipelines and are interested in gaining for exposure to deploying ML models, this is the opportunity for you.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience designing and developing end-to-end data pipelines from ETL processes to reporting
• Strong Python and SQL
• Experience working in a cloud Data Stack (preferably AWS)
• Strong communication skills and desire to mentor
• BONUS: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization

• Deploy and manage cloud services
• Automate and streamline CI/CD processes
• Deploy and maintain highly reliable and secure Infrastructure
• Own the monitoring and networking processes for SRE practices

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Platform One is essential
• Iron Bank, Advana, PartyBus is also essential
• Proven experience with containers (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Strong professional experience with Python, Bash, or Shell
