A position for a Principal Data Analyst is available at a leading General Insurance and Financial Services provider.
The Company
The company has grown from a specialises in agricultural small business organisation, and pushes for sustainability and stability in the farming industry.
This role has a strong data engineering focus, and will sit in the Underwriting and Pricing Data Team. It will see you as the technical expert, stakeholder referral, and assurance point for a range of data analyses.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Building a SelfServe culture through building and automating dashboards
- Shaping data strategy and wider data transformation and governance
- Building a data warehouse
- Supporting needs of the team, and dealing with adhoc information requests
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience with SQL and ETL development
- Experience with BI and/or Data Engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
- Experience with data visualisation tools, ideally Power BI
- Mentoring and coaching experience (desirable)
