Harnham are partnered exclusively with one of the most cutting edge government contractors in Atlanta. They are at an exciting point in their growth as they are looking to expand their talented population health team which is currently partnering directly with the Center for Disease Control. You'll have the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to the CDC and work on projects pertaining to informatics, applied research and public health.

THE ROLE

As the Population Health Portfolio Manager, you will be required to:

    • Help execute and manage the population health pipeline
    • Act as a trusted advisor to CDC stakeholders
    • Own new projects supporting various business functions and product development
    • Present regularly to key officials
    • Provide deep knowledge on public health
    • Identify new areas to optimize portfolio strategy

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Population Health Portfolio Manager will likely have the following skills and experience:

    • MPH or PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology or similar
    • Extensive history of partnering with the CDC on population health at the state/local/international level
    • Top notch written and verbal communication, being comfortable presenting to and managing government executives
    • History of designing public health programs or policy
    • Strong interest in population health and societal well-being
    • Proven ability to multi-task and execute projects in a time-sensitive manner
    • Understanding of health and human services a plus
    • Eagerness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Desire to solve challenging problems

THE BENEFITS

A competitive base salary of $200,000 - $250,000 + highly competitive benefits (comprehensive healthcare, extremely high retirement plan matching, graduate education support, etc)

Coronavirus Update: What to expect from Harnham

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2019 UK, US and European Salary Guides. With over 3,000 respondents globally, this year’s guides are our largest and most insightful yet.  Looking at your responses, it is overwhelmingly clear that the Data & Analytics industry is continuing to thrive. This has led to an incredibly active market with 77% of respondents in the UK and Europe, and 72% in the US, willing to leave their role for the right opportunity.  Salary expectations remain high, although we’re seeing that candidates often expect 2-10% more than they actually achieve when moving between roles.  Globally, we’ve also seen a change in the reasons people give for leaving a position, with a lack of career progression overtaking an uncompetitive salary as the main reason for seeking a change.   There also remains plenty of room for industry improvement when looking at gender parity; the UK market is only 25% female and this falls to 23% in the US and 21% across the rest of Europe.  In addition to our findings, the guides also include insights into a variety of markets and recommendations for both those hiring, and those seeking a new role.  You can download your copies of the UK, US and European guides here.
