Machine Learning Engineer (NLP) - Contract

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a team of Data Scientists in implementing NLP techniques to better understand their competitive position in the market.

THE COMPANY:

As a Data Scientist you will have the chance to work for a leading retail company in implementing NLP models. You will be working alongside both Data Scientists, Product Owners and analysts in 2 week agile sprints.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Scientist, you will be working on aggregating multiple data sources, processing large amounts of data quickly to ultimately analyse their position within the market. You will be implementing NLP techniques to better understand their position within the market so they can then improve upon this. Therefore as a Data Scientist you must be experienced with Python and different NLP packages. As a Data Scientist you will be building models within AWS and experience with AWS Sagemaker is highly advantageous. Alongside Python you should have excellent knowledge of SQL. As you will be working in a fast paced environment prior experience working for retail, ecommerce and product focused companies is essential.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience:

· Extensive experience with Python and a good understanding of its libraries; Pandas, NumPy, SciPy

· Expertise specifically within NLP; text classification and matching

· Excellent knowledge of AWS; specifically AWS Sagemaker

· End to end model building

· Masters in relevant field

The ideal candidate will have

· Extensive experience within the e-commerce, industry
