Are you an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who has a keen interest in personalization and optimising user experience? A global established advertising company is growing out their UK based data science/ machine learning team.

THE COMPANY:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be working closely with the Data Science Manager on a range of personalization projects as well as mentoring and developing junior data scientists in the team. The company provides improved user experience to more than one billion global mobile users.

THE ROLE:

The role of Machine Learning Engineer involves using their large data-sets to build and deploy machine learning models as well as improve existing models, both offline and in real-time.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• You will write production level code in Python
• You will contribute to the entire life-cycle (research, design, experimentation, development. deployment, monitoring, and maintenance)
• You will develop new ideas and ways to use machine learning models to solve business challenges
• You will build data and models pipelines both offline and in real-time
• You will work alongside the product/ engineering teams to test and deploy new machine learning models
• You will researching into new ways to enhance existing machine learning models

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Machine Learning Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to Masters/ PhD level in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, etc)
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms (Artificial/Deep Neural
• Networks, Boosting algorithms, Random Forest, SVM, Naive Bayes, PCA, K-means variants, etc)
• Proven commercial experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in a related industry
• Knowledge of ad optimisation algorithms (CTR prediction, eCPM optimization, user targeting and segmentation, RTB and real-time optimisation)
• Python, Spark, AWS Sagemaker, Tensorflow, SQL, NoSQL, Scala, Java

THE BENEFITS:

The successful Machine Learning Engineers will receive a salary, dependent on experience of up to £60,000 and benefits.
