The Role:

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will help build and scale their AWS based platform and work hand and hand with the machine learning team. Other responsibilities include:

• You will write and deploy code using Python and Java
• Mentor and teach more junior Software Engineers
• Use flask to develop applications and ecosystems
• You will work on building and coding in their AWS based platform

Your Skills and Experience:

• Experience using AWS and AWS services like Lambda, Fargate, and ECS
• Experience developing applications using Flask
• Experience mentoring junior Software Engineers
• Programming Experience in Python, Java, and Javascript

The Benefits:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will receive a $170,000- $190,000 base. This role also includes Equity, health, dental, and vision care.

THE ROLE: Senior Data Engineer
As Senior Data Engineer, you will be writing clean code, working on cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelining. You can expect to transition into a managerial role in the short run. Your additional responsibilities will include:

• Data pipelining and database management
• Writing and testing scalable and readable code in Python
• Acting as a mentor to junior counterparts
• Helping build out the data architecture and design
• Assisting in defining the technical strategy across multiple teams
• Collaborating with data scientists across the organization

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Expertise working on one of the clouds: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Python programming expert
• Containerization background in Docker or Kubernetes
• Orchestration experience in Prefect or Airflow
• Management or leadership involvement
• Expertise in the biotech domain
• Background working closely with more junior engineers on the team to help utilize and enhance their skills
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• High level communication skills
