THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following:
- Supporting the Head of Impairment to deliver overviews of credit losses
- Supporting in IFRS9 modeling techniques, testing and validation
- Stakeholder management, when communicating analysis and findings
- Maintain IFRS9 models
- Lead a team of talented individuals
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Impairment Strategy Senior Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in IFRS9 model development, monitoring or validation
- Strong knowledge of SAS, SQL, python or R
- Proficiency in data manipulation and extraction
- Exposure to working with senior stakeholders

The Role:
This role is responsible for delivering the commercial performance of their personal loans books. It’s a highly analytical team that combines data and commercial skills to build financial models and set the pricing strategies across new and existing customers
- Responsible for technical pricing and commercial analytics across personal loans
- Development of financial models and NPV models to understand profitability of different price point proposals
- Ownership of pricing strategy – optimising book value across new and existing customers
- Develop data-driven insights into pricing strategy and customer value model performance including on Product Upgrades and Repricing
- Increase automation within the Pricing function through data analytics and implementation of new technology
- Manage stakeholder relationships including presenting at the Pricing committee in front of C-level
Your Skills and Experience:
- Numerate degree from an accredited university
- Excellent stakeholder skills
- Strong financial background with a great understanding of PnL drivers
- Experience developing Pricing strategies or models within the lending or credit space
- Proficient in Python, SQL is ideal. However, there is a data team at hand for candidates without programming skills. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are required
- Outgoing personality with strong communication, stakeholder and people management skills
Interview Process:
- 30 minute intro covering motivations and CV
- 90 minute final interview including 2x 45 minute sessions covering technical, competency questions and presenting a pricing proposal
