The Role:
As Vice President of Software Engineering, you will lead a globally distributed team of over 350 engineers building next-generation financial wellness and identity products. You'll drive technical strategy, organizational scaling, and engineering excellence across Java, Scala, web, and native mobile platforms, all powered by AWS cloud-native infrastructure.
You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Architecture to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing systems while fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability. This is a highly visible role with a seat at the executive table, helping define and deliver the technology strategy that powers the company's future.
Requirements:
- Proven success leading large, distributed engineering organizations (200+).
- Expertise in Java, Scala, web, and native mobile development.
- Deep experience with cloud-native (AWS) architectures and large-scale, real-time systems.
- Strong track record driving Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation initiatives.
- Experience in financial technology or regulated industries preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
The Benefits:
