THE ROLE- Senior Technical Product Manager
In this capacity, you will possess a strong proficiency in SQL, along with a deep understanding of analytics and their applications in the finance industry. As the Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of products, from conception to deployment, focusing on applications in the finance sector. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and analysts, to ensure the seamless integration of solutions into our financial products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of product initiatives in the finance sector, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and data scientists, to define product requirements, specifications, and timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize your expertise in SQL to analyze complex financial data sets and provide valuable insights that contribute to the enhancement of our financial products.
- Apply your finance background to assess the financial implications of product decisions and effectively communicate them to the relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement, taking into consideration market trends and customer feedback within the finance sector.
- Drive the prioritization of features and functionalities based on a deep understanding of customer needs and market demands in the finance industry.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential technical issues, working closely with the engineering team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable products tailored for the finance sector.
- Regularly monitor product performance and user feedback, leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding product iterations and enhancements within the finance domain.
- Act as a technical liaison between the product development team and other departments, effectively communicating complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a finance-focused company, consultancy, or startup is strongly preferred
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL is required.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously within the finance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement in AI applications for finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
