Position Summary:

I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, to support our client's business with comprehensive reporting, planning, and analysis of revenue. This pivotal role involves providing critical insights into performance drivers, managing complex financial models, and collaborating across various business segments to align objectives with forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver valuable insights into business performance trends.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance business results.
  • Create and maintain detailed forecasting models, analyzing historical trends and actual results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development of annual plans, forecasts, and long-term strategies.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of revenue-driving functions, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial and KPI performance reports to senior management and the executive leadership team.
  • Execute ad-hoc analytical tasks, including database queries and report generation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or a Planning/Forecasting role.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting tools (e.g., Cognos BI, Hyperion Essbase) preferred.
  • Experience with large data sets and a solid understanding of financial statements.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a passion for continuous learning.
