The Role

As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ML models that accelerate drug discovery. You will work closely with other ML experts to build and test various AI architectures for drug-like molecules, ensuring they are safe and effective. Your work will contribute to reducing drug development timelines from years to months, making a direct impact on the future of healthcare.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and test machine learning models to design and optimize drug-like molecules.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to test AI-generated molecules and analyze their effectiveness.
  • Build predictive models for protein interactions, dosing, and efficacy.
  • Continuously refine AI tools and algorithms to improve the accuracy and speed of drug discovery.
  • Work within a small, tight-knit team of experts dedicated to delivering innovative healthcare solutions.

Role Requirements

  • PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • FIRST AUTHOR non-workshop publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, AISTATS, UAI, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV).
  • 2+ years of experience in developing machine learning models, either in academia or industry.
  • Strong understanding of diffusion models, Bayesian optimization, and transformers.
  • Experience working on ML models for complex problem-solving and product development.

Required Skillsets

  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch is essential.
  • Expertise in developing ML models and optimizing their performance.
  • Strong coding skills and experience with ML frameworks and toolkits.
  • Experience in working with complex datasets and applying machine learning to solve real-world problems.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with a small team and external stakeholders.
