The Role
As an ML Engineer on this small but impactful team, you'll be essential in developing and sustaining an AI platform where data accuracy is paramount. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building a major data infrastructure platform from the ground up, primarily using Python.
- Ensuring ongoing platform reliability and performance.
- Creating and maintaining robust, fail-safe data pipelines.
- Organizing, scaling, and managing multiple data models that work together seamlessly.

Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
