What You'll Do
- Lead & Develop Teams: Build and mentor a collaborative, high-performing engineering team.
- Own Product Development: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Drive Innovation: Define and implement scalable architecture while adopting modern technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, design, and other teams to align technical initiatives with business goals.
- Optimize Performance: Establish metrics, monitor systems, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage Vendors: Oversee relationships with external vendors and manage budgets effectively.
Key Projects
- Lead a Shopify migration to a next-generation eCommerce platform.
- Enhance digital experiences with better UX, visualization tools, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Build scalable data infrastructure and manage integrations with platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Snowflake.
What We're Looking For
- Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership and 8+ years in engineering (eCommerce required).
- Expertise with platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS a plus).
- Integration experience with systems like ERP, CDPs, and data warehouses.
- Understanding of eCommerce trends, UX/UI, and digital marketing strategies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and budgets effectively.
- Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban).
