Computer Vision Engineer - Supply Chain

6-Month Contract (potential extension)

Our client is looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join their supply chain technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative computer vision solutions that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of their supply chain operations. You will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge CV algorithms to automate the supply chain process.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms for supply chain applications, including object detection, recognition, tracking, and quality control.
  • Work with large datasets, preprocess images, and apply data augmentation techniques to ensure the quality of input data for computer vision models.
  • Integrate computer vision solutions seamlessly into our existing supply chain management systems, ensuring compatibility and scalability.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and supply chain experts to understand business requirements and translate them into effective computer vision solutions.
  • Optimize the performance of computer vision models, considering speed, accuracy, and resource utilization to meet operational goals.
  • Develop testing procedures and conduct thorough validation to ensure the reliability and robustness of computer vision applications in real-world supply chain scenarios.
  • Document code, algorithms, and methodologies for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision and apply new techniques to improve supply chain processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in computer vision development, with a focus on supply chain applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision libraries.
  • Experience with image processing techniques, feature extraction, and convolutional neural networks.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics is a plus.
