As a Compiler Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge compiler technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling our systems to achieve exceptional performance, scalability, and efficiency. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of compiler theory and implementation.

Location: Santa Clara, CA. MUST BE ABLE TO GO INTO OFFICE

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and implement compiler features and optimizations.
  • Develop new compiler algorithms and techniques to enhance performance and code generation.
  • Analyze and profile existing compiler infrastructure to address performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the compiler with hardware and software systems.
  • Leverage expertise in neural processing units (NPUs) to optimize compiler design and functionality.
  • Research and evaluate emerging compiler technologies, including NPUs, to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in computer science, with expertise in compiler theory and optimization.
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with LLVM or GCC compiler frameworks preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware architecture and compiler-hardware interaction.
  • Familiarity with parallel computing, optimization algorithms, and performance analysis tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with neural processing units (NPUs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
