Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define and implement web analytics solutions using JavaScript tracking technologies.
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript tags, ensuring accurate data collection across websites and digital properties.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of web data, providing insights into user behavior, website performance, and conversion rates.
  • Implement advanced tracking techniques, such as event tracking, custom dimensions, and enhanced e-commerce tracking.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize website performance and user experience.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into actionable tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Create customized dashboards and reports using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to deliver meaningful insights to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in web analytics and JavaScript development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Web Analytics Engineer or in a similar role, specializing in JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and web development technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and their implementation.
  • Experience with JavaScript tracking libraries, such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
